Today was the longest, hardest climb. The first 25km wound through green valleys with the spectacular new superhighway towering high above. The last 8km was a sharp incline with stopping points at two villages along the way. Conversation was at a minimum as concentration on breathing took priority. Although I think that 2 or 3 hours took more out of us than whole days had in the past, we all trickled into town eventually.
In O Cebreiro we were greeted by ¨Celtic¨ fiddle music and tourist trap gift shops. Of course the church did have the Holy Grail, once and for all proving Indiana Jones was pure fiction.
